Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 October 2026

These terms explain how iKasal works and what we expect from each other. We've kept them short and in plain language. By creating an account or using a website made with iKasal, you agree to them.

Who we are

iKasal (“we”, “us”) makes wedding websites for couples. The service is run from the Philippines. You can reach us any time at hello@ikasal.com.

The service and packages

iKasal lets you build a wedding website with RSVPs, a guest list and other tools for your big day. There are 3 packages: Essential, Signature, Premiere. Each package is a one-time payment, with no monthly fees. Current prices are Essential ₱1,499, Signature ₱2,499 and Premiere ₱3,999, also shown on our homepage. The price you pay is the one shown when you pay; later price changes don't affect a package you've already paid for.

  • Essential — ₱1,499: A beautiful website with RSVPs, your story, venue and schedule. Up to 25 MB of your own photos and music.
  • Signature — ₱2,499: Everything in Essential, plus invites, reminders and your entourage. Up to 50 MB of your own photos and music.
  • Premiere — ₱3,999: Everything in Signature, plus guest photos, check-in and seating. Up to 100 MB of your own photos and music, plus 300 MB for photos your guests upload.

You can build and preview your website for free. Payment is needed before you publish it for your guests.

Your account

  • Give us accurate information, especially your email address: that's where we send sign-in links and important notices.
  • Keep your password safe and don't share it. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Each wedding website has one owner, who makes the decisions about it.
  • If your package includes a helper login (for example, for a coordinator or family member), you choose who gets it and you're responsible for how they use it.

Payment

You pay by GCash or bank transfer, using the details shown when you're ready to publish. We check and confirm each payment by hand, usually within a day. Your site can be published once your payment is confirmed.

Refunds

  • Before your site is published: you can ask for a full refund. Email us at hello@ikasal.com and we'll send the money back to you.
  • After your site is published: payments are no longer refundable.

Your content

  • You own everything you put on your website: your names, story, photos, music and other details.
  • You give us permission (a licence) to store, copy and display that content only as needed to run the service: to host your website, show it to your guests and keep backups.
  • You're responsible for having the right to use what you upload, including photos taken by others and any music, and for the guest list you enter.
  • When you replace or remove a photo or song, the old file is deleted automatically about 2 days later, and stops counting toward your upload space.
  • If you turn on guest photo uploads, you review and approve what guests share. You can hide or delete their photos and messages at any time.

Acceptable use

Please don't use iKasal to:

  • post anything illegal, hateful, harassing or sexually explicit;
  • post content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or privacy;
  • send spam, or misuse the email and invitation features to contact people who aren't your guests;
  • try to break, overload or get around the security of the service.

How long your site stays up

  • Published websites stay up until about 6 months (180 days) after your wedding date. Then the site is archived: guests see a thank-you page, and guest-uploaded photos are deleted.
  • We email you about a month before that happens, so you have time to download your guest photos (Admin → Photos → “Download all”).
  • Unpaid drafts are deleted after 45 days without any activity. We email you a warning first, at least 7 days before, and simply editing your site again keeps it.

Availability

We work hard to keep iKasal running smoothly, but the service is provided “as is”. We can't promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors, for example during maintenance or when a provider we rely on has an outage.

Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or unexpected losses, and our total liability to you for anything related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for your website.

Suspension and termination

If you break these terms, we may suspend or remove your website or account. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. You can stop using iKasal at any time and ask us to delete your website and account.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is important, we'll tell you by email or on this website before it takes effect. The date at the top shows when they last changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
